Character cards and game pieces from a famous board game will come to life through an immersive murder mystery dinner experience in Charlotte.

Blume Studios is set to host the world premiere of Clue: Murder on the Menu this fall. The estimated two- to two-and-a-half-hour experience will include a cocktail reception and a three-course meal complete with character interactions as guests try to solve the murder of Mr. Boddy Black.
Preview performances run from Oct. 9 to Oct. 15, with prices starting at $115.65. The remaining dinners from Oct. 16 to Nov. 22 range in price. Tickets are on sale now.
“Charlotte audiences have consistently embraced immersive, interactive storytelling, and we’re thrilled to debut another experience in a market where audiences have been so supportive of this type of entertainment,” said Kevin Hammonds, the writer and director of the show, in a statement.
Blume Studios at 904 Post St. in Charlotte’s Iron District is going to become the Black Family Tudor Mansion. The suspects of Hasbro’s Clue board game, initially released in 1949, will be in attendance: Solicitor Peacock, Chef White, Miss Scarlett, Mayor Green, Professor Plum and Colonel Mustard.
The menu, prepared by Chef Craig Barbour from ROOTS Catering, will include passed hors d’oeuvres and seasonal plates such as a chicken breast and risotto main dish and blackberry tart dessert.
The murderer, weapon and room change with every performance, allowing attendees to decode puzzles and identify a unique set of clues.

This experience is recommended for detectives ages 8 and older, and matinee performances are scheduled, along with the regular 7:30 p.m. shows. Guests can upgrade to VIP individual tickets or the signature case package to receive special seating, beverages and personalized experiences.
Blume Studios is the creative hub for Blumenthal Arts.
In 2024, the studio hosted Space Explorers: The Infinite, a virtual reality exhibition taking guests to the International Space Station.
The venue has also been the site of the 2024 Faulty Towers: The Dining Experience shows and the 2025 MONOPOLY LIFESIZED: Travel Edition experience.
“Blume Studios was created to break down the traditional barriers between audiences and performers, and Clue: Murder on the Menu is an excellent example of that vision,” CEO of Blumenthal Arts Tom Gabbard said in a statement.
Clue: Murder on the Menu was created by Right Angle Entertainment, a group that brought The Magicians Table magic show to Charlotte in spring 2026.
It also made Clue: A Walking Mystery, a cold-case interactive version of the game, that was launched in other U.S. cities.
