A 38-year-old woman and a 46-year-old were accused of breaking into a Claremont home they said was “abandoned,” the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators searched the couple’s home and also recovered a statue of a Native American, a red washer and dryer, and a blue stool with “Goodyear” written on the cushion, the search warrant said.
