Touché Charlotte will debut at 2308 Central Ave., although an official opening date for the restaurant and lounge wasn’t made public.
Led by restaurateur Chet Desai, the new place will offer elevated American fusion cuisine alongside craft cocktails and more, according to its social media.
“The wait is almost over!” the restaurant teased in a recent Instagram post announcing an invite-only family and friends night set for Friday, July 31.
The space was last home to The Club House Kitchen & Cocktails, co-owned by Desai and business partner Ricky Patel. Desai is also a co-owner of PARA Charlotte in South End and The Temple Charlotte Lounge.

The pair opened The Club House concept in 2023, taking over the old LuLu’s Maryland Style Seafood & Chicken spot. Its proximity to Pinhouse, a bowling bar just next door, was a major draw.
“We moved very quickly,” Desai told CharlotteFive at the time. “It took two weeks from our first visit to having the lease in hand.”
Now, the restaurateur said the space will be renovated (again) and reopen it as Touché Charlotte. Beyond elevated bites, customers can expect cocktails, hookah and bottle service.
Additional details about the menu weren’t immediately available, and the restaurant didn’t have a working website as of July 30.
