Hornets release full preseason schedule: Here’s when Charlotte’s new look debuts

Monday, the Hornets announced their full 2026-27 preseason schedule, which includes an opener at Spectrum Center on Oct. 6 against the Brooklyn Nets. That will mark the team’s first game following the offseason trade sending Ball and Josh Green to Minnesota, and the likely debut of rookies Christian Anderson and Hannes Steinbach.
Charlotte hosts the Milwaukee Bucks in uptown five days later on Oct. 11 to conclude the home portion of its tune up for the regular season. The Hornets then hit the road for a matchup in Boston against the Celtics on Oct. 14 and wrap up their exhibition slate in Memphis with the Grizzlies on Oct. 16.

The Hornets’ full 82-game regular-season schedule should be released within the next few weeks once it’s finalized by the NBA.
