The café offering crêpes, waffles, gelato and Belgian chocolate, among other sweets, debuted at The Arboretum Shopping Center over the weekend. It’s one of several U.S. locations and marks the first in North Carolina, CharlotteFive previously reported.

The dessert shop’s plans to launch in the Queen City were first teased in June 2025.

“We’re thrilled to bring Melt n Dip to The Arboretum and introduce our unique dessert experience to the Charlotte community,” franchisee Dawla Rammounieh said in a news release at the time.

“From our signature chocolate-dipped creations to our cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, we look forward to becoming a sweet destination for guests of all ages.”

On the menu, there’s plenty to satisfy your sweet tooth. Customers can pick from more than a dozen crêpe creations, each one topped with three types of Belgian chocolate (milk, dark and white). There’s also cake, gelato and a few fruit salads.

The drink menu includes classic espresso-based beverages alongside tea and Turkish coffee.

Early reviews show Melt N Dip is already a hit among Charlotteans. The dessert shop had a 5-star Google rating as of Tuesday, Aug. 4.
