Myers Park High School will have a new baseball coach next spring.
After 10 seasons, longtime Mustangs’ coach Erik Foor is stepping down, the school announced on its social media accounts. Efforts to reach Foor and officials at Myers Park were unsuccessful Friday afternoon.

Foor had a 194-45 record with 10 straight state playoff berths. His teams also won several conference tournament and conference tournament regular-season championships. Myers Park has won at least 20 games in each of the past five seasons.

Foor also produced nearly 40 college players.
Last season, the Mustangs finished 24-6 overall and were unbeaten in regular-season Greater Charlotte conference play. Myers Park reached the N.C. 8A Western Regional championship series before losing to eventual state champion Providence.
