Touche Charlotte will debut at 2308 Central Ave., although an official opening date for the restaurant and lounge wasn’t made public.
“The wait is almost over!” the restaurant teased in a recent Instagram post announcing an invite-only family and friends night.
The space was last home to The Club House Kitchen & Cocktails, co-owned by restaurateur Chet Desai. Desai, a co-owner at PARA Charlotte in South End and The Temple Charlotte Lounge, opened The Club House in 2023 in the former LuLu’s Maryland Style Seafood & Chicken spot.

“We moved very quickly,” he told CharlotteFive at the time. “It took two weeks from our first visit to having the lease in hand.”
Now, Desai said the restaurant will be renovated and reopen as Touche Charlotte. The concept will offer American fusion cuisine, plus cocktails, hookah and bottle service, according to its social media page.
Specifics on the menu weren’t immediately available, and the restaurant didn’t have a working website as of July 30.
