Man with lifetime ban from all Walmarts caught stealing at NC Walmart, police say
A man with a “lifetime ban” from every Walmart on the planet has been arrested again, while allegedly pilfering electronics from a Walmart in North Carolina, according police.

It happened around 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Walmart Superstore on West Main Street in Locust, police said in a Sept. 17 news release. Locust is about a 25-mile drive northeast from uptown Charlotte in Stanly County.
“The suspect, well known to Locust police and detectives, was Mr. Marcel Henderson of Columbia, South Carolina. (He) was confronted and apprehended without incident while attempting to conceal close to $1,900 in electronics merchandise,” police said.
“At the time, LPD already had active warrants for Henderson’s arrest for four prior larcenies that spanned over the last 18 months. Total plus attempted loss of merchandise believed to be taken by Henderson in Locust was in excess of $8,000.”
The $1,900 in merchandise involved in the Wednesday’s incident consisted of video games that had anti-shoplifting devices removed, according to court documents.

Henderson, 22, has five additional active felony warrants for “similar offenses” in other jurisdictions, and he has “a permanent lifetime ban from all Walmart locations,” police said.
“The approximated total loss to all affected Walmart locations believed to be taken by Henderson is in excess of $100,000,” police said.
Henderson was taken to the Stanly County jail and served with felony larceny and attempted larceny warrants, as well as misdemeanor trespassing charges, police said.
