Headquartered in Muskego, Wisconsin, Inpro hosted a ribbon-cutting on Tuesday, July 28. The 165,000-square-foot manufacturing facility began operations in February.
In 2024, Inpro announced the Mint Hill location at 10681 Clear Creek Commerce Drive, according to a statement from the company. In December 2021, Inpro purchased the lot for $934,500, public records show.
The privately held company did not disclose the cost of building the facility.
The new facility combined the operations of Charlotte-based subsidiary Inpro WT Commercial Window Treatments and Inpro’s Privacy Systems Division in Matthews.
Before combining, Inpro bought and later renamed WT Shade, a roller shade manufacturer, in 2022. The company also made a 2015 purchase of Hinkel, a producer of window shades, cubical curtains and related products.

Following the consolidation, the production capacity for Inpro’s shower curtains, cubicle curtains and roller shades was expected to increase, the company’s 2024 statement said.
Inpro continues to expand outside of the state, unveiling a design center and showroom in its Muskego headquarters in April. The company will open another facility in its home city this year.
Across its Muskego, Mint Hill and Phoenix locations, Inpro has about 800 employees.
