Four new schools run to NC Super 25 poll for state’s top high school football teams
Four new teams join the N.C. Super 25 high school football poll this week.
The rankings are sponsored by The Charlotte Observer and the News & Observer of Raleigh. The Super 25 ranks teams, regardless of classification or association. The two media companies also sponsor a weekly poll of the top teams by classification, and The Observer has offered its Sweet 16 regional ranking since 1984.

New this week are 4-0 Wilson Hunt, 4-0 AL Brown, 5-0 Marvin Ridge and 5-0 Asheboro.
