2 killed, 1 wounded and ‘juvenile’ hit by a car amid chaos at apartments, CMPD says
Two people were fatally shot, a third was wounded, and a “juvenile” was struck by a car during a rush hour “altercation” in west Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police.

It happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Little Rock Apartments along Nobles Avenue, just north of West Boulevard.
Officers were called to the scene by reports of an assault with injuries.
“Two (men) were transported by MEDIC to a nearby hospital, one with non-life-threatening injuries and the other with life-threatening injuries. The second victim was later pronounced deceased,” CMPD said in a Sept 23 news release.
“An additional victim self-transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced deceased.”

The young car crash victim was also found at the scene, and taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said. The “juvenile” is expected to recover, police said.
The youth was struck “during the incident,” and the driver was involved in the dispute, police said.
Details of a suspect and motive have not been released.
