NC woman hopes to become Mrs. Harry Jowsey on new Netflix reality show

Finding love is hard enough, but trying to do it while competing against 19 other women on a reality show is an even tougher challenge.

A North Carolina woman is taking that chance on “Let’s Marry Harry,” Netflix’s new reality dating competition that follows reality TV star Harry Jowsey as he searches for a wife.

Among the 20 women hoping to win Jowsey’s heart is 26-year-old Debralee Tomberlin, a Kings Mountain native who works in medical device sales.

If Harry Jowsey looks familiar, it’s because he’s become one of Netflix’s most recognizable reality TV personalities.

The Australian model and influencer first rose to fame on Netflix’s “Too Hot to Handle” in 2020 before appearing on “Perfect Match.” Now, after years of high-profile relationships and reality TV drama, Jowsey says he’s ready to settle down and find lasting love.

Jowsey doesn’t have the best reputation when it comes to dating. According to Netflix, his romantic life has been filled with “whirlwind flings, messy breakups and viral moments.”

“With one Google search, [it’s clear] my dating history is terrible,” Jowsey told Netflix.

Jowsey’s past exes include Charlotte native and “Love is Blind” Season Six alum Jessica Vestal, who ended things with Jowsey after he was seen leaving a Tate McRae concert with Rylee Arnold, his partner on “Dancing With the Stars” in 2023.

“Oh, I was so mad,” she told People about how she felt after seeing the video. “I mean, I was mad. I was sad, but I was just like, whatever.”

Other flings include actress Lucy Hale, and model and influencer Julia Rose, who he dated for about a week, Entertainment Weekly reported.

Produced by Alex Cooper, host of the popular podcast “Call Her Daddy,” “Let’s Marry Harry” follows Jowsey as he dates 20 women over the course of the competition with the goal of finding his future wife.

Unlike many dating shows, Jowsey isn’t making every decision on his own. His close friends, including best friend Amanda Kloots, former girlfriend Georgia Hassarati and “honorary brother” Sonny Henty, help guide him throughout the process as he narrows the field in hopes of finding “the one,” Netflix says.

“I don’t know if I’m good at picking my relationships. I think I’ve always found myself in a little bit of trouble; that’s probably mostly my fault,” Jowsey told People in 2025. “But this new show — Alex Cooper is leading this horse to water. She’s gonna be the one that’s gonna pick all the people, and I think it’s my best shot at love.”

According to Netflix, Tomberlin is a 26-year-old medical device sales representative from Kings Mountain.

She describes herself as a “Southern girl” with “questionable taste in men,” adding that she’s a hopeless romantic who gives her all once she falls for someone.

“Once I care about someone, they get the softest, most thoughtful version of me and I’m all in,” Tomberlin told Netflix. “I’d rather love with my whole heart than hold back.”

When she’s not working, Tomberlin enjoys staying active, chasing sunsets, traveling and spending time with friends over margaritas. She says she’s ultimately looking for someone who values stability, effort and emotional awareness as she hopes to build a family someday.

The first seven episodes of “Let’s Marry Harry” are now available on Netflix, with the finale scheduled to air Aug. 12.
