Following eight weeks of renovations, a popular concert venue in NoDa will reopen on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

The Neighborhood Theatre is set to celebrate with a sold-out show from Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand on its reopening day, according to a statement from the venue.
The upgrades include new lighting and sound systems on both stages, a renovated balcony, a new draft beer bar and decor additions. Performers have access to an enhanced backstage space, with a new dressing room, renovated dressing room and renovated restroom.

A venue spokesperson previously declined to disclose the cost of renovations.
The Neighborhood Theatre at 511 E 36th St. has been hosting acts for almost three decades. With the reopening, the venue is launching premium seats and private events bookings, the statement said.
