Lake Norman man dies when power pole falls on him near NC 150 home, trooper says
A Lake Norman man died Monday when several vehicles hit a low-hanging cable line near his home on N.C. 150 in Terrell, causing a power pole to fall on him, a State Highway Patrol trooper said.

Darrenn Reeves Bradshaw, 35, was killed when the drivers of an RV, a commercial vehicle and a car hit the line while westbound near Bradshaw’s home in the 7700 block of the highway, Trooper Jake Macchia said in a news release.

The utility pole the cable line was attached to broke and hit Bradshaw from behind, Macchia said.

No charges will be filed, the trooper said.
