Queen’s Feast: Charlotte Restaurant Week runs July 24-Aug. 2, offering three-course prix fixe meals starting at $30 at more than 120 restaurants across nine counties.

Standout dinner deals include a $50 prix fixe at NoDa’s The Goodyear House featuring its well-known Cashew Mac and East Tennessee BBQ Half-Chicken, and a $55 modern Japanese menu at Yugenn with sushi, hot dishes and dessert.

Suburban diners can find deals too, including a $45 meal at Napa Kingsley in Fort Mill and a $55 offering at Vintage House in Hickory with butter-roasted monkfish and Basque cheesecake.

WNBA player Kayla McBride of the Minnesota Lynx and her sister Karlee McBride-Webber, a former Indiana Hoosiers basketball player, are opening 1122 Coffee Company at NOVI Flats in downtown Concord by September.

The 643-square-foot shop is named after the address of the sisters’ childhood home, and Instagram videos hint at classic coffee and teas including vanilla chai lattes and iced blueberry matcha.
