The new routes will go to Orlando, Fort Myers and Tampa with operations beginning in November, Avelo Airlines CMO Scott DeAngelo said. Each of the routes will be offering $49 one-way fares, he added.
“These new routes not only open the door to more sunny getaways, but also make travel easier and more accessible for families, vacationers and business travelers alike; further enhancing connectivity for the entire region,” DeAngelo added.
Avelo announced nonstop routes to Indianapolis and Cleveland from Concord last week.

Since launching in April 2021, Avelo has carried more than 9.6 million passengers on more than 76,000 flights and now serves 34 destinations across 14 states and Puerto Rico, according to the airline.
Avelo began its operations in Concord in 2024. The company announced in January its long-term commitment to the Charlotte region. The strategic shift also included the closure of its bases at Wilmington and Raleigh-Durham’s airports.
Avelo is the third airline to operate out of Concord-Padgett, joining Allegiant Air and Sun Country Airlines at the single-runway facility. The airline has extended its flight schedule through March 2, 2027, which will allow travelers to plan for trips in February and early spring.
