“Summer’s all about easy, feel-good moments, and this collection is our take on that – fun flavors that fit right into the season,” Alison Holder, chief brand and product officer for Krispy Kreme, said in a news release.
Just last month, the brand brought back its popular glazed lemon-filled doughnut for a limited time.
Krispy Kreme had also expanded its core lineup, adding nine new flavors, plus four seasonal doughnuts that rotate regularly, CharlotteFive previously reported.
Pricing information for the Summer Seasonal Collection wasn’t immediately available. Similar offerings — like the seasonal banana pudding doughnut — cost $2.79 at the Krispy Kreme in South End as of June 15.
As Krispy Kreme says hello to summer, it will say goodbye to some spring-inspired doughnuts (for now).
