911 call leads to four people shot in Gaston County home, NC police say
A 911 call early Thursday led police to four people with gunshot wounds in a rural Gaston County home, according to investigators.

Their identities and details of their injuries have not been released.
“Gaston County Communications received a 911 call reporting a shooting near the 2600 block of Forbes Road. County Police patrol officers arrived at approximately 8:48 a.m. and located four victims inside a residence,” police said in a Sept 10 Facebook post.
“Officers immediately secured the scene and began providing lifesaving measures to the victims until fire and EMS personnel arrived.”

Details of a suspect have not been released.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area as police search for evidence related to the shootings. The 2600 block of Forbes is just east of U.S. 321 in the Crowders community.
