Rounding out the most recent list of the best Southern resorts was Skyline Lodge in Highlands at No. 9. The resort said it \u201cpairs panoramic mountain views with mid-century modern design\u201d from its location \u201ctucked away in the Nantahala National Forest,\u201d according to a Friday, July 10 news release.<\/p>\n
