Indoor and outdoor seating will be available, plus live music and \u201cDJ-driven moments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Founders Edmond \u201cRoc Well\u201d McMiller and Myra Wilson describe EVO Kitchen &amp; Co. as a \u201crefined yet approachable\u201d dining experience. It falls somewhere between a casual restaurant and high-end dining, providing a gathering spot for locals, families, professionals and visitors alike.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI often compare what we\u2019re doing to the TV show \u2018Cheers,\u2019\u201d McMiller told CharlotteFive in an interview. \u201cBut that\u2019s like a popular theme &#8230; to where when you go in, it\u2019s like everybody knows your name. It feels like home.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McMiller was also behind <a href=\"https:\/\/www.yelp.com\/biz\/kream-tapas-bar-and-grill-pineville\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">Kream by Kope<\/a> Tapas Bar &amp; Grill in Pineville, which is now closed.<\/p>\n<p>At EVO, the unique mix of hospitality, ambiance, and elevated offerings are \u201cwhat\u2019s going to really cause us to stand out,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/charlotterelocationguide.com\/?p=3373\">Charlotte suburb to get a new store from a fast-growing discount retailer<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Chef Kendrick Hollis will oversee the kitchen, bringing more than 15 years of culinary experience to the new restaurant concept, the release said. Hollis, a military veteran, has worked as a private chef with a focus on herbal-infused dishes and fresh ingredients.<\/p>\n<p>Featured menu items will include:<\/p>\n<p>Vegetarian options will also be available.<\/p>\n<p>Customers can look forward to a full beverage program featuring craft cocktails and premium drinks. The EVO Island \u2014 made with Malibu rum, peach schnapps and pineapple juice \u2014 is sure to be a crowd favorite, McMiller said.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol-free sips will be on the menu, too.<\/p>\n<p>The North Carolina native already has plans to expand, setting his sights on North Charlotte for his next culinary venture.
