New mayor answers questions on tolls<\/a><\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, Class of 2028 four-star wide receiver Joseph \u201cJet\u201d Gibbs <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/GibbsJosep59631\/status\/2074865743758237777\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">announced his commitment to USC,<\/a> becoming the Gamecocks\u2019 first pledge in the class.<\/p>\n<p>A 6-foot-1, 187-pound wide receiver from Haw River, North Carolina, Gibbs is ranked as a <a href=\"https:\/\/247sports.com\/player\/joseph-gibbs-46165626\/\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">Top-300 overall prospect<\/a> and Top-45 receiver, according to the 247Sports Composite rankings that factor in all networks. He\u2019s also slotted as the No. 10 player in the state of North Carolina.<\/p>\n<p>Nicknamed \u201cJet,\u201d Gibbs also runs track at Southeast Alamance High School with a 100-meter personal-best time of 10.54 seconds.
