Another store at a Charlotte-area mall<\/a> is facing eviction, with court documents claiming over $100,000 in unpaid rent.<\/p>\n

EZ Purchase LLC, doing business as Go Green CBD<\/a>, is being evicted by Mall at Concord Mills Limited Partnership at 8111 Concord Mills Blvd. in Concord, according to a civil complaint filed June 23 in the Cabarrus County District Court Clerk of Superior Court small claims division.<\/p>\n

The Aventura, Florida-based retailer owes $104,770 in rent as of June 1, according to court documents. The store sells CBD and THC products.<\/p>\n

The landlord stated that the tenant has refused to vacate the premises. The mall\u2019s owner is Simon, which also owns SouthPark mall<\/a> and Charlotte Premium Outlets in Charlotte.<\/p>\n

Simon could not immediately be reached for comment on Monday, and the firm\u2019s Charlotte-based attorney declined to discuss the case. Go Green CBD officials also declined a request for comment on Monday.<\/p>\n

Concord Mills in Concord has 182 stores and restaurants.<\/p>\n

With a monthly lease rate of $7,598, according to court documents, the CBD store has been delinquent for nearly 14 months. A hearing is scheduled at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the Cabarrus County Magistrate\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Go Green CBD is based in Florida and has seven stores in malls, according to the company\u2019s website. The Concord store is the only location outside of Florida<\/a>.<\/p>\n

At one time, Go Green CBD<\/a> had 18 mall-based kiosks and storefronts in New York, North Carolina, New Jersey and Florida. The company previously had stores at Northlake Mall in Charlotte, as well as Asheville and Winston-Salem. The Concord store<\/a> opened in November 2024.<\/p>\n

This is the latest in a spate of recent mall-related eviction proceedings in recent weeks.<\/p>\n

In June, SouthPark Mall<\/a> Limited Partnership filed to evict Aroma360 NC Sp LLC, a luxury scenting and retail store at SouthPark Mall at 4400 Sharon Road. Aroma360 is a luxury scenting and retail store.<\/p>\n

Aroma360 owes more than $55,816 in rent as of June 1, according to the complaint filed in Mecklenburg County small claims court. At a lease rate of $13,687, the company is roughly four months behind on payments.<\/p>\n

The mall is seeking possession of the space, according to court filings. A hearing originally scheduled for Monday, July 6, was continued until July 13.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, at Northlake Mall<\/a>, owner Hull Property Group<\/a> also filed a complaint in June to evict a tenant. However, the Atlanta-based real estate firm dismissed its lawsuit against The Juicy Crab restaurant just days before the scheduled magistrate hearing, Mecklenburg court filings show.<\/p>\n
