This means there\u2019s a \u201creasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The recall involves millions of bags sold at major grocery stores <b>including Publix, Harris Teeter and Food Lion.<\/b> Smaller packages were also sold at convenience store chains like 7Eleven, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utzsnacks.com\/pages\/product-locator?srsltid=AfmBOooM-TXm-pbrNSa16yNoIBIzlXFvoNurdtXhky2Y4kFt9SWBTN1d\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">Utz\u2019s product locator.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It comes nearly two months after parent company Utz Quality Foods voluntarily recalled the popular snacks after it learned a flavor seasoning containing dry milk power could be tainted with salmonella bacteria, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.charlotteobserver.com\/charlottefive\/c5-food-drink\/article315668951.html\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">CharlotteFive previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>So far, no illnesses have been reported, the FDA said.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s what to know about the nationwide recall.<\/p>\n<p>The nationwide recall involves <b>nine limited varieties<\/b> of Zapp\u2019s and Dirty Brand potato chips with <b>\u201cbest by\u201d dates between July 27 and Aug. 31,<\/b> according to the recall notice.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/charlotterelocationguide.com\/?p=2639\">UNC men\u2019s basketball picks up late commitment from transfer portal guard<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The following snacks are now under \u201cClass I\u201d recall:<\/p>\n<p>If you have any of these snacks in your pantry, throw them out, officials said. Customers can also request refund by calling the Utz Customer Care Team at 1-877-423-0149.<\/p>\n<p>Salmonella poisoning is a bacterial disease often <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mayoclinic.org\/diseases-conditions\/salmonella\/symptoms-causes\/syc-20355329\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">spread through contaminated food or water,<\/a> and can cause severe intestinal illness, according to Mayo Clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Symptoms can appear within eight to 72 hours after exposure and may include:<\/p>\n<p>Most people recover with a few days without treatment.
