Pet care<\/b> is also growing expensive, and rental rules and fees<\/b> can play a part in surrenders. Some apartments have pet deposits, pet rent, weight restrictions, breed restrictions or some combination of these regulations, which can be expensive for pet owners.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you look at how Charlotte has become more of a rental market, then you know that there are a lot of restrictions that are put in,\u201d Knicely said. \u201cWe get a lot of things where people move and they can\u2019t afford the pet deposit or they move to somewhere that has a pet restriction list and their dog is on the restriction list.\u201d<\/p>\n
