On Juneteenth, the U.S. Postal Service will close all of its post offices nationwide and won\u2019t deliver mail. But shipping services<\/a> FedEx and UPS plan to operate on the holiday<\/a>, and you can look up store hours on their websites.<\/p>\n

Also, banks with a presence in North Carolina<\/a> \u2014 including Wells Fargo and Bank of America \u2014 won\u2019t open to customers<\/a> in observance of the national holiday.<\/p>\n

Offices for Mecklenburg County<\/a> and the city of Charlotte<\/a> are closed on Juneteenth.<\/p>\n

The county in a news release said people won\u2019t be able to visit its nature, recreation or senior centers on the holiday. But parks and nature preserves will remain open, and schedules could vary at outdoor pools and spraygrounds.<\/p>\n

Several supermarkets plan to welcome customers on Juneteenth, though it could be best to call ahead to check if your store\u2019s pharmacy is open. Here are the schedules at popular grocery stores in and around Charlotte.<\/p>\n
