What to know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A fast-casual chain famous for its double-patty burgers and hand-spun shakes is plotting its next restaurant just outside Charlotte.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/charlotterelocationguide.com\/?p=1700\">An NC university is eliminating the position of Gender Studies director<\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatjaggers.com\/\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">Jaggers<\/a><\/b> is looking to build a new restaurant at 985 Concord Parkway South in Concord, marking its debut in the Charlotte metro, permit filings show. The space was most recently home to a Chick-fil-A restaurant.<\/p>\n<p>Plans for the build-out include <a href=\"https:\/\/aca-prod.accela.com\/CABARRUS\/Cap\/CapDetail.aspx?Module=COC_Planning&amp;TabName=COC_Planning&amp;capID1=26CAP&amp;capID2=00000&amp;capID3=005AM&amp;agencyCode=CABARRUS\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">a full renovation<\/a>, \u201cadding 3 bike racks and making exterior elevation changes\u201d to the existing building, according to the filing. An initial request for a building plan review was filed in late January.<\/p>\n<p>Jaggers already has a few North Carolina locations, including spots in Fayetteville, Greenville and Jacksonville.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s unclear when the new restaurant could start welcoming customers, however. The menu includes mushroom Swiss burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches and hand-breaded chicken tenders.<\/p>\n<p>Jaggers also serves salads along with fries, tater tots, coleslaw and other classic sides.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll want to be sure to grab a cool, creamy milkshake to wash it all down.
