No purchase is required.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNational Doughnut Day is one of our most joyful traditions \u2013 a moment to celebrate the doughnuts people love, the guests who inspire us every day and the simple happiness that comes from sharing something sweet,\u201d Alison Holder, chief brand and product officer at Krispy Kreme, said in a news release.<\/p>\n<p>First celebrated<b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.salvationarmyusa.org\/national-donut-day\/\" rel=\"Follow\" target=\"_blank\">by the Salvation Army<\/a><\/b> in 1938, the first National Doughnut Day was a fundraiser to benefit those impacted during the Great Depression, according to the organization\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonut lassies\u201d also served the sweet pastries to World War I soldiers, the Salvation Army said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/charlotterelocationguide.com\/?p=1054\">Mailbag: How will Carolina Panthers use Jonathon Brooks to start 2026 season?<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Krispy Kreme fans will have more than a few options to pick from.
