The latest CharlotteFive Readers’ Choice poll is focused on restaurants that have served us for 25 years or longer, through family gatherings, casual dinners and special occasions.

We kicked things off by asking for your nominations. As with past CharlotteFive Readers’ Choice contests, each restaurant in the area to make the list must have fewer than 20 restaurants and no previous wins in a Readers’ Choice contest.

Reader votes narrowed the nominees from 25 to the Top 10, and then down to Top 5 classic restaurants.

Now, this latest round will find the Top 2 classic restaurants that readers hold dear — and that’s a tall ask in a city full of favorites that have stood the test of time.
