Gunfire erupts at 2 am, killing a man and wounding 2 ‘juveniles,’ NC police say
A man was killed and two “juveniles” were wounded by shots fired in the middle in a residential neighborhood, according to investigators in North Carolina.

It happened around 2:20 a.m. Sunday in Burlington, about a 45-mile drive northeast from uptown Charlotte.
“Police officers responded to the 1300 block of Elm Street in reference to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two juveniles with gunshot wounds and an adult male deceased,” Burlington police said in an Oct. 4 news release.

“The two juvenile males were transported to local hospitals for treatment. One is stable, and one is in critical condition.”
