New restaurant to replace former all-you-can-eat sushi spot near Charlotte

Suki Fusion, an Asian fusion restaurant and bar, invited locals to its soft opening on Wednesday, May 20, at The Centrum shopping center in Pineville. The event kicks off at 11:30 a.m.
“We’re so excited to finally open our doors,” the owners wrote in a message posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page. “Our team has been working hard behind the scenes to create a welcoming place for fresh sushi, flavorful hibachi, comforting ramen, sizzling stir fry … and so much more.”
Suki Fusion will seemingly replace all-you-can eat sushi spot The OG Asian Eatery, which planned to temporarily close for “internal restructuring” back in February but never reopened. It’s not clear if the two restaurants are under the same ownership.

Before that, the space was home to Yiding Hot Pot, Sushi + More, CharlotteFive previously reported.
CharlotteFive reached out to Suki Fusion for more information Tuesday, May 19, but didn’t immediately hear back.
The restaurant will also offer private KTV and karaoke rooms, allowing guests to belt out their favorite tunes.
