The Cape Lake Norman will include 27 “sleek minimalist-style” homes resembling those in the Florida coastal resort community of Alys Beach, agent Liz Miller said. Agent Mike Feehley helps manage the listing.

The community will be located off Ranger Island Marina Road, Miller told The Charlotte Observer. That’s off Ranger Island Road and Unity Church Road, 26 miles northwest of uptown Charlotte.

Homes in the boutique community will be in the 4,000-square-foot range and cost between $2.5 million and $3.5 million, according to the Cape Lake Norman website.

All homes will have inside elevators, and some will include turf-type yards on their third-floor terraces, Miller said.

Other features will include infinity-edge terrace pools, high-end interior finishes, light-filled interiors, panoramic lake views and a setting designed for entertainment, according to the community’s website.

“This is a first-of-its-kind development on Lake Norman, offering a lifestyle that simply doesn’t exist anywhere else on the lake,” Miller said in announcing the plans for Cape Lake Norman. The development is “destined to become one of the Southeast’s most sought after offerings,” she added.

Roland Development Group of Chattanooga, Tenn., will develop the community. Homes will have coastal-inspired architecture that pairs clean exterior lines with large interior spaces, according to The Cape Lake Norman website. Those spaces blend indoor and outdoor living.

Homes will be lock and leave, meaning ones with low maintenance and high-security.
