Cold case arrests: CMPD charges three people in 2017 killing
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police detectives have charged three people in a murder case that is nearly a decade old.

Nathaniel Rorie, Broderick Falls and David Webber have all been charged with murder in the death of Raymond Johnson, according to a news release from the department on Tuesday.
Police first found Johnson’s body on Aug. 3, 2017, in the 3700 block of Monroe Road. He worked at a pawn shop, according to The Charlotte Observer’s news partner, WSOC. His widow had long tried to keep attention on the case, WSOC reported.

CMPD arrested Falls and — with help from other agencies — Rorie on Monday.
Webber is already in North Carolina Department of Adult Correction custody. CMPD said detectives would interview him.
