North Carolinians can snag a free Aldi grocery box this week — but you’ll have to act fast.

As part of its blind box giveaway, the discount grocery chain will release a mystery box filled with assorted Aldi favorites and grocery staples — and it’s totally free.
The mystery bundles drop daily at noon ET on AldiBlindBox.com. Boxes are available until Thursday, June 25, while supplies last, and are released on a first-come, first-served basis, according to the grocer’s website.
The first of the grocery bundles launched Monday, June 22, and quickly “sold out within about five minutes,” USA Today reported. If you missed the first drop, there’s more coming down the pike.
“Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery,” Bridget Kozlowski, director of communications for Aldi, said in a statement. “With surprise unboxings more popular than ever, this is our way of helping customers discover even more favorites.”
Here’s what to know about the limited-time giveaway:
Each Aldi blind box has a theme, offering shoppers a curated selection of food products.
The first, a snack blind box, featured a “craveable mix designed for grazing,” according to a news release. Three additional bundles will follow:
Customers can visit Aldi’s Instagram page to see which box will drop next.
At noon daily, shoppers can log onto AldiBlindBox.com to snag that day’s mystery bundle.
“Click on the ‘Claim an ALDI Box’ to add a product to cart as quickly as possible,” according to directions on the promotion’s website. “If you’re directed to the checkout queue, inventory has likely already been claimed.”

Enter your shipping information, and the box will be delivered straight to your door, Aldi says.
Some customers have already reported issues, however, from extended wait times and repeated CAPTCHA verifications only to realize the boxes had completely sold out.
“Very disappointing and a waste of 20 mins,” Nikki Sears wrote on Instagram. “Checkout waiting room should only be for people getting one. Simple.”
“SCAMMMM!!!! Got it in my cart as soon as it started and waited 30 mins for it to say OUT OF STOCK,” Lexi Jones added.
The Charlotte Observer reached out to Aldi for comment Tuesday, June 23, and was awaiting a response.
The discount grocer has nearly 100 stores across North Carolina, including spots in Apex, Charlotte, Durham, Raleigh and Wilmington.
Shoppers in North Carolina and nationwide are feeling the pinch as the cost of groceries continue to rise.
According to the latest Consumer Price index data, food prices jumped 3.1% year-over-year in May. Prices for food at home (aka grocery store purchases) also rose 2.7%, with the cost of fruits and vegetables seeing the largest increase at 6.1%, data show.

On the flip side, the price of dairy and related products fell 1%.
