Jaggers is looking to build a new restaurant at 985 Concord Parkway South in Concord, marking its debut in the Charlotte metro, permit filings show. The space was most recently home to a Chick-fil-A restaurant.
Plans for the build-out include a full renovation, “adding 3 bike racks and making exterior elevation changes” to the existing building, according to the filing. An initial request for a building plan review was filed in late January.
Jaggers already has a few North Carolina locations, including spots in Fayetteville, Greenville and Jacksonville.
It’s unclear when the new restaurant could start welcoming customers, however. CharlotteFive reached out to Jaggers for more information on Monday, but a spokesperson declined to comment.

The burger brand was launched in 2014 by Kent Taylor, founder of Texas Roadhouse, the restaurant’s website says. The menu includes mushroom Swiss burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches and hand-breaded chicken tenders.
Jaggers also serves salads along with fries, tater tots, coleslaw and other classic sides.
You’ll want to be sure to grab a cool, creamy milkshake to wash it all down. Flavors include chocolate, vanilla, banana split and peanut butter pie.
