The Charlotte-based fast-food chain announced the return of its Breakfast Bo-Rito Monday, along with the debut of the new Fuego Breakfast Bo-Rito, a limited-time menu item designed for customers who like a little extra heat with their morning meal.
The original Breakfast Bo-Rito features country-style sausage, eggs, Bo-Rounds, Monterey Jack cheese and sausage gravy wrapped in a flour tortilla. It also comes with Texas Pete Hot Sauce.
The new Fuego Breakfast Bo-Rito takes the same foundation and turns up the spice level with a ghost pepper sauce from Yellowbird and a red tortilla.

“Our Breakfast Bo-Rito was so well received by guests last year that we decided to bring the heat for its return to the menu this year,” Marshall Scarborough, Bojangles’ vice president of menu and culinary innovation, said in a news release.
The Breakfast Bo-Rito first appeared on menus last year and quickly developed a following among fans, and its return comes as Bojangles continues to expand its breakfast offerings.
Both the Breakfast Bo-Rito and Fuego Breakfast Bo-Rito are available now at participating Bojangles locations for a limited time.
